My name is Melissa James and I am excited to introduce myself as the Assistant Principal at Mount Auburn STEAM Academy. This is my 2nd year at Mount Auburn. It is truly an honor to be a part of this school community. I was a classroom teacher for 15 years and an Instructional Coach prior to becoming an Assistant Principal and this is my 28th year in Dallas ISD. 

I am looking forward to creating a learning environment where every student and teacher is seen and supported. Ready, Set, Show Up because it’s time to Level Up!
