Counselor Rivera

Hello Mount Auburn,

My name is April Rivera, and I am one of your Mount Auburn STEAM Academy Counselors. I am a product of DISD schools.  I attended a L.O. Donald Elementary School, then Stockard Middle School and graduated as a Kimball Knight.  I was very fortunate to have DISD help put me through school to become a teacher for them when I was first starting out and now, and I am a counselor for them.

One of the coolest things about being a counselor is that we get to work with all students in the areas of academic success, career development, and in the personal/social realm. Helping families is what I love to do so please stop by and see me for anything that you might need help with.
